    1998 M1078 A0 Wiring nightmare?

Yes. That's what he got with it, That tub of stuff that has close shapes. I take it that the A0 dash is green and the A1 dash is black? Ill dig into finding the trans numbers, too.

Ship my m1078 home or drive it home? Yermo to San Jose in CA!

Between the batteries always needing a slave start, and the tires, I would not drive it.

    1998 M1078 A0 Wiring nightmare?

Yeah, he realizes that now. He says there was a pic from the sale that showed the word "running" in grease pencil on the cab front. When he got it, it said "not running". They conveniently cropped that out of the pic. The rest of the truck seemed complete

    Proportion Valve

In that pic I see a notchy looking feature in the plug bottom side that would lead me to believe there is a locking device of some sort due to its safety critical status

    Aluminum troop seats/benches

Are you sure its aluminum, and not fiberglass? I always liked the look of the extruded planks versus the WW2 looking wood seats mine came with. I always thought they were aluminum...turns out they are 13/16x3" "Pultruded" resin jobs. http://www.stephanwoodproducts.com/solutions/ If there...

    Basic HMMWV tool bag

Has anyone else noticed that a lot of the nut on bolt fasteners are sized so that you don't need two wrenches the same size? Like a 3/4 nut with an 11/16 bolt head. I like the thinking behind that.

M-1026 Oil Leak At This Part

    wheel/tire options - budget minded?

The more I search around on this subject, the more I realize what an orphan the HMMWV tire size is if you want a skinnier, less aggressive tire. I want to try some CUCV wheels with something 275/100R16 size...but there isn't much to choose from

    Gun rack mods?

A friend of mine got ahold of some racks used in police cars. Magnetically lock a shotgun and AR but can open with a hidden switch, or manually with a handcuff key. I'll be ****ed if I cant find pics of it though

    Solarizer system mounting questions

LOL, I went and looked up under the lip of the box and found the old unit. I'm like..."this is too easy". So I mounted it in the same holes. Later, when reinstalling the battery box lid, I feel it rocking on the lip of the cover and top of the control unit. Had to drill new holes to...

    Solarizer system mounting questions

Im finally getting around to replacing my solargizer system. The original was "de-milled" by cutting the wires just under the hood and removing the whole harness/box stuff. Im wondering if anyone has pics of the units as they were installed originally? If there was a standard routing for the...
