I am about to tear into the hubs on my M1008 and
would like to get all the parts necessary before hand since it is my daily driver. Does anyone know where I can buy the O ring seal that is part of the locker assembly?

So I went to the Kragen, now Orieleys,
parts place to buy some cotter pins for the steering linkage. The guy at the parts counter doesn't have a clue what I am asking for, and can't even look it up. There software only lists major parts and doesn't even pull up a picture. And yes, I gave him the...
What is the data plate that goes in the top right hand corner of the top horizontal section of the
operators panel on a M108. This is the one above the operational data plate and is only about a third of the size of that one. There are 4 holes for the data plate, but the manual does not show a...
Just found out what my M390C trailer was designed for.
I had always supposed that it was for a search light. I have a nice radio teletype shelter mounted on it. So now I have a level camper with a built in ladder and a front porch, and a new heater that was speced for this shelter.
Pictures...

Who can I buy M108 parts from that wont cost me an arm and a leg? Who do you prefer buying parts from?
Right now I need some simple things like seals, but I am not sure what problems I am going to run into.
I have replaced most of the hoses and modified the connectors so they will work.
Thanks...
I want to hook up one or two seperate sets
( 2x12v) batteries to the slave output on my M54A2 and charge them while I am driving.
One set will be in a large shelter in the bed,
and the other set will be in a small shelter on a trailer.
I am thinking that the regulator will see it as one 24v load...
Started to do maintenance on XM211 wheal bearings and seals. After reading the manual
TM 9-1819AC, I don't see anything that talks about packing the bearings with grease.
Does this mean that they are only lubricated with gear oil from the diff's?
Is the "seal, oil adjusting nut", the same as...
I need a very long throttle control cable for my M108/M211 hybrid crane truck. Where is aq good place to start looking for this. I assume that I should be able to just order one of these by specifying length, right?
Thanks for any tips on this,
Bruce
TM 9-2320-280-20-2 is probably corrupt.
the -1 and the -3 all load ok. I tried several times over a two day period. Got several errors. On said "expected dict" others said file was corrupt.

Does anyone know the part decription/size of the tiny o rings that go on the end of the hydraulic hose assemblies for the steering gear et all?

Parts required:
NATO plug
Two strips of copper or heavy copper wire
Wire up the plug so that you get about an inch of copper showing out of each hole. One for Positive
and one for negative.
Red tape or a spot of red paint to indicate the Positive lead on the NATO Plug. Prevents FUBAR when you...
I am trying to find a source for the bushing on the bottom Driver side of the tailgate and none of the parts places seem to carry it or find it for that matter.
Any leads would be appreciated.
Bruce
Not sure if it is front or rear though. It is intermitant and usually at low speed under 5mph.
Does this sound like a brake bleeding or wheel cylinders. How do I test?
Thanks for any help,
Bruce M1008
