    Sorry... The persons who owned the Ontos that I took the pictures of displayed it as a USMC Ontos Dragon. So, I made the mistake of assuming that the USMC had nicknamed it the Dragon.

    I got the frame number directly off of the jeep just in front of the drivers side shock absorber. I got the serial number and other information from the original glove box data plate.     Sorry...did not find anywhere in this thread where you sold the Ontos? I believe this vehicle was also fondly referred to as the "Dragon" during its USMC service.
