No Problem
The no holes and no rounded corners were my fault...
I told him I did not want the rounded corners or for him to make the holes. He would have done both at no additional charge had I asked him to.
Will make anything you want in the way of a data plate so long as you provide a sample of the dimensions, colors, lettering, and hole spacing if you want them to make the holes for you. (I told them I would make my own holes)
I tried "parts wanted" in the SS classified, MV Data plates on the...
Dear Kyle,
I am in complete agreement with this eloquent statement from one of the best at Steel Soldiers.

No luck with this winch!
I tried the vice grips with the hammer and driver on the tip of the vice grips,
I tried drilling a hole in the key and threading it (1/4 by 20) so I could put a bolt in the hole and use a slide hammer to try and dislodge the key.
I tried a large variety of punches...
I am in the throws of changing all the seals on a M35 front winch and making repairs. I could use two of the : O-ring, (aka preformed Packaging) part#9452K21. Be happy to send you half the price you paid for the package of 100.

Thanks to all who helped me in this matter. I made a homemade pressure bleeder and bled all the l;ines from the farthest to the nearest after doing the slave cylinder FIRST.
Got my pedal back and am now adjusting the brake shoe clearance for all six drums.

Steel soldiers has a member who makes tow bar mounts that he sells in pairs
I just purchased a pair and they can mount anywhere that you can find the space.
I have seen them mounted on the front bumoer, Under the troop seat area, against the front part of the cargo area nearest the cab, and...
I thought of doing that...but the length of the brake line hose and knuckle housing removal intimidated me , as well as the TM instructions to disconnect the brake line.
I knew I would have to bleed the system but was not prepared to have the pedal go imediately to the floor and then stay...
Makin a pressure bleeder
Well, a great big thanks for the replies so far.
It seems that I should pressure bleed the system thoroughly and then see if the problem remains.
I am going to look at threads for doing this. At $20-25.00 cash investment I cannot go wrong.
Will let you know what...
Bled the air assist slave brake cylinder Instant no brakes
I changed the front axle boots and had to remove the two brake lines from the wheel cylinders.
During the boot replacement I inspected all brake components, then adjusted the brakes and bled the two wheel cylinders on the front of the...
