This was a hoopty looking setup! I think the dolly weighs in at 3,250# and is about all I would want to tow with the M1009 (no brakes and no lights). It was a little bouncy and the fifth wheel did flip forward a few times. I was able to pull it 150 miles or so without any problems.

Check out the wear (contact) pattern on these 11.00x20 NDCC tires. No wonder these things are obsolete. Granted, these tires pictured are on an unladen dolly trailer. I am switching everything I can over to the new and improved radials.

Thanks Jason. When I checked their website, it looks like they have an optional 24v slave adapter. That would be nice to have so I could boost off my trucks whenever needed. I don't think I even want to know what the manufacturer would charge for a battery or that optional adapter. Maybe...
