    Idaho motor pool in Frendship ID up the road from you (Exit 3) has the shields they have a few 109 boxes to store parts in they had the shields on them last time I was there about a month ago.

    I would put itn the botom 1-2" of the tank and move the suction up a tad and that would cure that.

    Got tips for better MPG's from LDT motors?

    When I remove the strainer to fill. I fill it untill the individual gaps in the strainer container (funny rhyme) can't be seen anymore and the fuel is up to the solid ring part. I hope that made sense. (insert read the TM quote here)

    I drove a M109 for 2500+ miles on a long recovery from Huntsville AL to Seattle Wa. My foot was to the floor the entire time and I got about 10mpg.

    Might try the wires as well if it is getting in to the non simple. Take a multimeter ensure there is no power to the light circut and do a resistance check from positive to negative through the entire circut. this will tell you if there is a break in the line. it should read some resistance...
