well i just got my 318 for $250 with ranny and pto and extra parts.

He says it came out of a dump truck. I off road so the low gearing is good.

318 swap Ok who has dun a 381 swap? I found one here in Florida for $300 with trans and pto so I may be using the trans on it but I don’t know yet. What I really need to know is how good is the 318? Will it fit with out cutting?

Yes the 6bt is way to long. But I know that the 6.2 has been put in m37’s before so I know it will fit

I don’t have the cash for a Cummins right now and need my truck so the 6.2 will work for a few years and also the m37 was built with a motor that had even less torque, HP and RPM's so I think it will work for now but in a few years I want to go to a 4bt.
