akonitony: Just being honest. My wife is my partner,
and if it ever came to war, she would be right next to me
firing away. We are both disabled now, but that wouldn't get in our way. Anyway, she is a much better shot than I am. And as for who wears the pants in our family, My DI
explained that...
Yep, I am an old Marine. My serial number is a real USMC serial number, not a Social Security number.
That is true, but I am just joshing around. It doesn't make me any better than any other Marine.
If you want to have some fun ask a Marine to tell you the story of the first Marine.

I don't know about other folks, but as far as my wife and I, we are not only lovers, we are buddies and share the work and responsibilities. When I was out there next to the tracks in Oakland, she was right by my side turning wrenches.I'm not afraid to clean and she's not afraid to
change a tire...
My wife is very practical and definitely a keeper. I started off with an M1008 and she thought it was great. No car payments. Not to many repairs until recently, but that's ok.
Then I bought an M54A2 and she recognized that it would help us relocate to Nevada when I retired since
I have a lot...

I was working on a ship in the Merchant Marines. Picked up a damaged tank in Nam and brought it to Manila. Crane cable snapped while off loading. No one got hurt thank God,
but it put a nice hole in the dock. I think it is probably still there.

It appears that the links to the rebuild kits are stale. There was some items on ebay motors, but how do tell if they are any good and not foreign crap?
Be nice if someone could recomend a reliable rebuild kit for the 6.2 injectors.
Thanks,
Bruce
Do you mean this?
Buy bottle of Good Bourbon.... get cork...not wine type... whiskey type...
cut into tight fitting chunk to fit in keyway and be compressed a little by
washer....put a little rtv on it to hold it and viola.... do not drive truck
until whiskey has passed...
Weather finally cleared up a bit and I took off the two parts.
There is no adjustment on the part that attaches to the gate, but there is a little adjustment on the part that attaches to the body. Not a whole lot though, but it is better.
Now I have to ask the following question. If you take...
I found the parts ok, but now I have another question.
I had been under the impression from another person that there was a bushing that was worn out at that point and that was why my tailgate is about a quarter inch down on the left side. I went out to make sure I was
looking at the right...
I am trying to find a source for the bushing on the bottom Driver side of the tailgate and none of the parts places seem to carry it or find it for that matter.
Any leads would be appreciated.
