Thundercracker,
Thank you, I thought that was a good question. I do not have that mount either.
But if I find one, I will put it in, so I can install whatever should go there, especailly if I could use it.
Otherwise I will do it anyway, just to bring my M1009 to stock fully equipped...
Hello Wheelspinner,
I am sorry to see what happened to your M1009.
But for the removeable roof, check with your local camper shell shops for a removeavle roof for a 1985 K5 Blazer.
As for the cab roof, go to a local bodyshop, they should be able to pull the dents out and fix that problem...
Hello 1ton,
Okay, thank you.. I was wondering what those switches were for,
Those switches under your headlight switch look kinda cool, where do you find those?
Hi guys,
Just wondering...
What are the symptoms when the CDR goes bad?
And where is it located?
Also, is it one of those parts that should be changed on a regular every few whatever miles schedule?
Or just replace whenever it goes bad?
Thank you, good day...
Kaiser,
Hello..
If you happen to be driving thru Marietta, Ga. on your way to or from the recovery,
feel free to stop by and say Hello, especially if you need help, I would be glad to do what I can.
It would be cool to meet another Steel Soldier too, especially if they have an M923 with...
Hello Zebra,
It was just a thought. It has worked for me before... When I used tohave trouble with an old starter.

lack of fuel.
So I was wondering if any of you guys would know.
Just my $0.02 cents...
N3uka,
Do NOT replace that relay, even a new one will bite you in the a$$..
Trust me. I speak from experience. I replaced that same relay with a new one,
and the new one caused the same problem, and burned my starter.
Do the "Doghead starter relay modification", instead. If you do it, you...
Hello Stan,
No worries, I will not run out of fuel. I will keep my eye on the new gauge,
and I also know what she sounds like when she is near empty, so I can get
to the nearest diesel station before I run out.
I know what a pita it is to restart a diesel engine after it completely runs out...
Hi guys...
Update: Today 11/13/2012. I topped off my fuel tank, and when I started my truck, the fuel gauge started working.
It now reads full. And when I shut off my truck at home, the needle started going towards emtpy...
So I suppose that the fuel level was just too low for the gauge to...
Hi guys,
The other day I took my instrument cluster apart to replace the non-working fuel gauge.
Got it done and installed, but the new gauge reads emtpy too. I have it idea or two.
And on my next day off, I will take it apart again to make another attempt at getting it working.
And while I...
