So I called Faria Beede today...
I don't get the logic of the military vendors. The military sells their outdated units to the public and the vendors won't sell the parts at a reasonable price or even at all. As the generators and other equipment is made available for public sale, there is a need for all these surplus parts...- robson1015

With a power factor of .8 I guess I should just run it up to 80% load to achieve 100% actual load, but 12Kw works also....- robson1015

Today was exercise day for 'Jenny'. Ran her for 2 1/2 hours at 100% load. Will stay on a 3 month rotation for start up and load test...All is well.- robson1015

I think I got lucky buying a Mep803A form auction!
Tried the pipe section with tractor flap and didnt like it. The tractor flap had an annoying rattle and if you plan on covering your unit with a cover, the original flat flap is the way to go. Nice looking unit there...- robson1015
