    M1078 PTO Solenoid Connection

The DIN connectors are held on with a screw. You cannot access the screw with the valve in place, you will have to remove it from the frame. I found this out the hard way. Check the ground for the valve harness. DIN connectors are a pain in the ass, the connections become corroded, wires break...

Valve Leaking on side of Wet Tank

Every commercial truck with air brakes has a pressure protection valve, it is available wherever truck parts are sold. (including NAPA) The pressure setting does not much matter as long as it is somewhere between 70 and 85 psi. All it does is shut off the air supply to nonessential devices, air...

    4L80E No shift from 2nd---SOLVED!

This looks a pretty good trouble shooting manual. https://gear-report.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Supplement_7_4L80E-Transmission_Troubleshooting.pdf GM manuals suggest input speed sensor faults. You might check for corroded connectors.

    Lmtv oil pan r&r

Pan gasket I just replaced my 3116 pan gasket. It looks easy, but not so much, it took me most of the day. It appears to me that the oil slinging off the oil pump gears splash right on the right side of the pan, pushing oil between the pan and the gasket. I was able to remove the lower bolts...

Popping through intake? Something failed in the valve train, usually an exhaust valve not opening.

Well another LVT-4 gets to come back to life...

I don't know how often Matt gets on here but I can fill in. A massive project has interrupted the LVT project. It is in indoor storage waiting it's turn. The plan is to get one of the Guiberson diesels that he has running and put into it. Regards Mike (a friend of Matt's)
