That's the speedometer adapter. It goes on the front of the transfer case. Is the truck driveable? Does the speedometer work? It's curious that it wound up in the glove box.

I fly out Monday for work but I'll try to get but Sunday. The deuce's radiator is still at the shop.

Did some prep work for the trip. With the help of davesgmc I flushed the deuce's cooling system today and pulled the radiator. It's had a small leak in one corner, but only leaks when the thermostat opens. Got the radiator to the shop just before they closed. We used Prestone flush and clean...

Ouch. Good luck. Hopefully it won't be too hard to get the records showing that you did pay and then see if you can get the state to pay your legal fees since the whole mess was their fault in the first place.

Go with the LDS and get the LDS injection pump. You'll be glad you did. The extra power is nice.

There are only a handful of trusted people I would let borrow my deuce. For everyone else, I'm happy to haul stuff as long as I drive.
