That's why I never use a debit card. Someone can empty your account and there isn't much you can do but keep working to put money back in there. As far as a credit card... if stolen... you have options... dispute the charge... and not pay if they cant prove you made the purchase.
Be careful...
The original post has it's merit of a higher standard.... but...Why is it that it's always someone else's fault? Buyerse need to be more responsible for their own actions, stupidity, incompetence, negligence, and plain ole duh.
It should not be the responsibility of the seller to make sure...
:funny:Guy lives in Comfort Texas (as far as I can tell) so I would assume he wants to register his trailer in Texas not California, Louisania, or Maine. I would think he would like input from Texas people on his issue.
However..... in Kazakhstan they do have a bridge, and dirt road tax...
In Texas you do not need a title to register a trailer if the GVWR is under 4K. A M101a2 is under that. All you need to do is take your GL paperwork (your invoice, and print the original GL listing), a pic of the data plate, down to the DMV and register it. DO NOT REGISTER IT AS A SHOP MADE...
But why would they exempt the EUC for the M116a2 trailer? I think a EUC for a trailer is stupid anyway....... what.... are you going to launch a m101a2 at an enemy? can you imagine the distance you can get one to go..... and the accuracy..... deadly ! Maybie they dont want it used for going...
it's going to be a tough decision what to do. I had the same issue when I needed to recover my deuce. I ended up driving there with a f350, dual tandem goose neck and got a cdl (without the air endorsement). trip there was fast. Trip back... not so much! Max speed 60. 4 hours into the trip...
I ordered and received mine about 3 months ago and have not installed it yet. Great question ! I will wait for an answer to your question before I install mine. (Like I need another excuse not to install it). Toom much to do... not enough time.
Great Post! Everyone needs to keep in mind that the trucks and trailers we buy are old, maintained by those who dont own them, (im sure driven by those who drive them like they were stolen) and most importantly......... buyer beware! Ive had great luck (so far).
