and i like the rolling out from your fenders, it is done way better and more beautiful than the cut out from only the fore and aft parts from the fender as is don at the last pic in post 62!
Way to go!!!
well, you can do two things; 1 try a little piece with the paint you like to use, and see how it reacts.
2, paint the trailer before with a two component epoxi primer, to isolate the new paint from the unknown (quality) old paint, (that's a good painters common practice) and put the new paint...
as said before, wrong loaded...
it needed more weight on the tongue.
But did you know, that that trailer is designed to be tongue heavy?
go sit aside, and have a good look! and you will see that the wheel well is off center towards the front, and there is also the boom with the lunette...
Hello all,
I'm busy rebuilding my 1961 Parkhurst M101A2.
and i don't know where to go for new handbreak cables, rear stabilizing leg, the complete electric wiring, and preferably one of those new adjustable landing feet (i hope that is the correct name for it?)
today i contacted Jay from...
Ok, yes, you're right, he goes to Holland, Germany etc. and buys things there for the (almost) same price as we have to do, transports them to France, and then tries to sell them with a bonus! that's wet they call "the green gold"!!!
Chevy rims (cuvc ones) DON'T fit unless you enlarge the rear hole on a lathe!
i got a couple of Ford rims, and they fit, they have only the large stud holes, but you have special nuts to fix that problem.
I know this is an old posting, but if there is somebody out there who has one, maybe he can take measurments to get a couple manufactured, i'm sure there is enough interest to buy them...
Hmmmm, Those Dodges are REALLY OK!
i'm driving Dodge (M-886, M-887 and now a M-884) for more than 20 years now, and never ever had really big issues with them other than replacing a starter, alternator or radiator...
And even once i've been on holiday with it to Libia, driving in the desert...
No, The '76 used another grille with the buckets around the headlamps, and the '77 used the one piece grille with the indicators inboard from the headlights.
is it possible that you PM me a or a couple of pic's from the grille?
Thanks,
Bart
