    I have all ways used SAE 30 for the summer and 15-40 for the winter in all of my vehicles. The advantage of multigrade oil is the lower viscosity, vs. sae 30, in cold weather.

    In theory it should be possible to use resistors to pull the voltage down from 28v to 14v. They could easily be wired in between the mil trailer plug to the civvie plug. However, it would require a fairly large amount of homework and calculation before selecting the proper resistance.

    Has any one investigated a transfer case solution to the top speed/over reving problem? Also is there a published max rpm for the axles?
