Maybe we can trade for a transfer case? The M52 pictured had FMTV wheels on the front and standard 5 ton rims on the rear. The overall track was close.
Westy, are you confusing the deuce and 5 ton rims here? I think the 5 ton stock rim is 2" wider. It can ammodate the larger tires no problem. Here is a picture of Goodyear AT-2A 14R20 on stock 5 ton rims on a M52A2. The offset and tracking front to rear is a little goofy looking. It will...
Got any pics? Do you have HEMTT, M939 series, or FMTV rims? How many bolts? The thickness is all different. No spacer to take off. Longer studs may be required.
I agree with FT and may have misled you with my previous post. I would not advocate towing 2 deuces with a 3rd one either. I would want a semi to do that over the road and agree that a 5 ton could be suitable for slower/shorter runs.
I did tow 2 bridge trucks behind a M911 once. I figured...
Congratulations on the deuces! Spend some time here using the search function and you will learn a lot. Get a couple of towbars and daisy chain those deuces. Here is a pic of my trip last week.

Some HMMWVs and the M35A3 are in the high 90s db while the Oshkosh PLS and HET are 85db.
I towed these home last week with everything in neutral. Even though I aired up the front tires, the 1st deuce didn't track very well around corners. I wonder if the angle of the towbar impacts the tires tracking or not tracking. Or, maybe I just have a disgruntled duece.
Just like fishing, I think you dream more about the ones that got away than your actual pruchases. Even though I feel very fortunate to have some nice green iron, I always think about that nice M345 trailer I missed out on ebay. I wish I would have put a bid in.
What about you? What have...
