Missed the auction today for the S 788 at Ft Mead #^*?<>,!!! Any body get one?

I flew in and camped under my wing one year, land in the middle of two other airplanes on the same runway hit my dot spot on. That place is well run but can be very stressfull. Lot's going on all the time.

I will be reserching installing without the bed. I have found some threads showing it can be done. Not sure how heavy the bed is but will help with load capacity if it's gone. Just not sure how strong the floor of the shelter is and how to mount it to the frame. Try to work some of that out...

The 250 shelter works on the A2, here is some data on it for comparison.

Taking the bed off would give a more usable load. and cet the C/G lower. But you do raise some interesting ideas.

Here is some data on the S-788's. Will take a tape out to the trailer tonight.

I see some S-788 shelters are for sale. What I have found out so far is they are for the Humvee. Think one might work on a M101a2 frame? Anyone heard of such a application. The only Pic I have is from GL and I don't think I can post it. Thanks Tim
