The LMTV axles that I have... have Rockwell International tag on them. They came from a LMTV. Arvin Meritor bought Rockwell out.
I need rims for these axles. I want to know if I HAVE to go with LMTV rims or if typical 5 tons will work.
If they will work, is there any difference I need to...
You shouldnt have a problem with a 1 inch zero rate, 2 inch add a leaves... or a combination of both.
I think some is wanting more of your money that they deserve.
Seems like a 4 inch lift is where the border line is. Some trucks are more than fine, and others need a little driveshaft tweak...
Looks like they are 2.5 ton. No big deal there.
But, at least something is being found!
Now to find a supplier and hope parts are not out of this world!
****... thats not good.
I did find on the Arvin Meritor site an axle that looks exactly like it. The Rf-611 series.
Anyone know of a contact for an Arvin Meritor dealer that would be helpful with something like this?
I am far from an expert, but I think the 900 series uses a top loader axle... and does not use planatary ends.... and I think the 900 is a 6.44 or something ratio.
So, not quite what these are. They are air brake axles, thats for sure.
Here is a little more info off the axles.... any help?

I think the question was zero rates... they are small leaf/block parts that bolt into the spring pack and give you a 1 inch lift.
