Hello Sverige,
I went with private.
Because it was just across town, I was able to see it, inspect it, discuss it, test drive it, etc.
Before making the decision to aquire it. I even went home to "sleep on it", after checking it out, before making the decision to get it.
I have not done...
Stationjj,
Yes, I do have Oreilly part numbers for the heater parts:
Blower motor:
VDO - Blower Motor
Part # PM106
Line: VDO
Blower motor resistor:
BWD - Blower Motor Resistor Part # RU1320
Line: BWD
Blower motor resistor connector:
BWD - Electrical Connector Part # PT5765
Line...
Cpf,
Gotcha.. duly noted... Mine usually stays in the green just over the line from the yellow.
But I know the charging system is working well within normal parameters.
So I will not worry about it either...
Night...
Hi guys,
My voltmeter never reads at the tick either.
Should the wires be under the hold down, or outside of the hold down like in the
upper half of the photo? which way is correct for an accurate voltmetere reading?

Cscmc1,
No worries.. If I have to pay the going rate of $12-$14.00 so be it..
I am not worried about it, it should apparently be replaced when replacing the balancer.
But I will see what price comes up and inquire as to why the dramatic change in price.
Night...
Cscmc1,
Okay, got it now. I need a timing cover seal... Why did'nt you guys just say so.. LOL...
Also, it is not a $3.00 part, it is more like $12.00-$14.00...
I will be sure to get one when I get the balancer...
Thanks for the reference to the part #'s... I guess I will go to napa or...
CPF,
Thanks for the new information and part number, oreilly's and napa has them on their website,
and oreilly's even has the connecter. Both parts are cheap enough to replace them.
Sames goes for the blower motor, that is fairly cheap too.
And if I dig into replacing the connector...
CPF,
Thanks for the information, and advice...
I tried cleaning those connections, no good..
I think I recall seeing them in the LMC catalog too, but I was hoping to find
them locally and help the local economy and all. No luck though.
Unless I were to take it out and take it into the...
JW,
Doh!! (CJ slapping himself... ) I have a 12v jump, and yet I did not even think of using it,
to jump the blower motor, I will try that. Thank you.
If the blower motor tests bad and not working, I will take it out and go to napa
or oreilly's...
But would those rusted connections stop...
CPF,
I checked the connections, like I mentioned.
The rusted solid connections are on the blower motor resistor and the
blower motor resistor connector.
Could that cause it to stop working?
I could not jump 12v directly to the connection on the blower motor,
until I run to the auto parts...
Hi guys,
Looking on the napa site, there is more than one radiator for the chevy k5,
why go with the 2098 when there are less expensive ones?
It is because of the core size difference?
Also, what is the stock radiator core size for the M1009?
I need a radiator too, but cannot afford...
Cucv1833,
Thank you for the reply and information.
I will get an oil seal when I pick up the balancer, since they are cheap,
and should be done since the balancer is being replaced anyway.
I will git er done one way or another... Have a good one.

I have searched that thread...
Cucv1833,
Hello..
I just called oreilly's and ordered the balancer.. I pick it up tomorrow.
Then I will do what I can to get it installed... Git er Done.
Do you have the part # for the crankcase oil seal? I cannot find it on oreilly's website.
Thanks...
Hi guys,
Thank you for all the information. It is all duly noted. I will see what I can do in my case.
And git-er-done one way or another, when I get a balancer.
Any more advice? Feel free to share.. If not, that is okay too..
Good night...
Hi guys,
Okay, I checked the fuse, for the blower. Good...
I checked the connector of wires coming from the bus bar behind the battery,
that plugs into the blower motor box on the firewall, all the connections inside
look like solid rust, same with the...
Cscmc1,
I have noticed mine is doing just about the same thing, but it does not wobble as much
as yours. It is very minute and barely perceptiable on mine.
But I am going to replace the harmonic balancers asap anyway, just for peace of mind.
How long did it take you to do? And how...
Twlinks,
Thank you for the tip, I will inquire with my local napa, and get it replaced.
Did you get the same switch that was already in there?
Since you said it works on high only, and the original switch is like 2-3 positions I think.
But in any case, with how cold it gets, I always had...
