Beach trip...I will be going all winter as well, in fact, this next weekend I plan to roll the duece out there. I will try to see if I can arrange a trip when the weather is optimal though. It would be great to get a trip out there! Let me know if you do any Gorman runs too.

drop the semi trailer, pull it with the tractor onto the trailer. Are you sure it wont run? When I got mine I didnt know, we pull started it with the semi and drove it onto the trailer.

So what are my meet-up possibilities. I am about 99% sure I will be running 166-58 as opposed to the longer Santa Clarita Route this time. I should be in Tehachapi around 10AM.... Im thinking Breakfast at Harvys? I think is the name of the place.

I still plan on coming with Devin, I just wanted to see If I should go down the 101 or Across the 166 over the Grapevine and meet him. I need to have a plan if for some reason I get delayed....you know...unforseen issues...

Does anyone have a mapquest location that would get me close to this place? I tried the GPS coords but google maps does not recognize it.

Im already a little nervous about taking my Duece on a 600 mile roundtrip run in 2 weeks, Threads like this dont help....... :shock: Looks like I got some more things to check before I depart....These are going into the "To Do" list right now.

That would be great to see. I can put them in my arsenal of camper coversion photos that I reference.

Not sure what kind of wheeling a duece with a shelter will be. My other ride is in the shop waiting for the Atlas 4 speed to come in. (Sold the old transfer case already) I will have to see what I can bring in the way of 4 wheeling other than the Duece which will probably be setting at camp...
