Not sure. I have not found the ones I need yet. I really need the dash supports. I can make floors and battery box. If I don't find a toolbox floor I will make that too.
I will be selling the ROPS. Yes, I have looked at all data plates and no year to be found. It is an AM General manufacture so I am assuuming late 70's?
The rear panel is pretty rusty. Not sure if I should replace it or repair it. I have never removed any panels on these. Are the pretty hard to remove? Heavily spot welded or pretty normal?
Got most of the ROPS out. The rear hoop is hard stuck. I will not be reinstalling this. After sitting in a field for 15 years I got her running! It runs on it's own. Did not even take the carb off. I adjusted the valves, changed the oil and replaced the water pump. All that is left is an exaust...
I have friends that make rum here in town. Like alot of it. They have a full time distillery. They have alot of "head" which is the beginning of the batch and is methanol, benzene and such. I can get it by the barrel. If I run it in the deuce will it burn or harm it.
I need body panels. I want to get the curved front side panels and new tops for the rear fenders. I'd also like a new toolbox bottom so I don't have to make these pieces. I am looking around for the best place to get metal panels.
Well, the jeep I had ended up being bent in the middle. Not so bad that it is noticeable unless you measure it or try to install the top. I didnt notice it. Anyway, I found another one that is rusty in the usual places but straight. It has ROPS si I know its not bent. I will be repairing this...
