The diagram you want is Appendix F, Figure 9, "Charging Circuits (All Except M1010)".
Wire size chart to decrypt the diagram is located in Chapter 2, Page 27.
This is backwards... Fusible links are always physically smaller than the wire they protect.
This orange wire you speak of is not part of the starting circuit, as you found in the -20TM.
Rather, the orange wire is a fusible link (20-gauge), part of the charging circuit, and it sounds like it...
If M99401 is the correct UIC, it previously belonged to HQ, 4th Marine Expeditionary Brigade (Anti-Terrorism), Marine Forces Atlantic.
Looks like the unit transferred its duties to 2/9 in February 2006 and dissolved.
People really 'gotta stop talking about upcoming/active auctions......
OP, I want to see the police report outlining the theft you committed. If she's a runner, that's an impressive deal!
Attached is a shamelessly stolen photo from GovLiq.
I'm not a HMMWV aficionado, but I see a lot of surplus engines with what appears to by a 700R4 TV bracket on the driver's cylinder head... However, the HMMWV bracket lays flatter than the civilian 6.2L bracket, and it may interfere with the...

Trying to make it out that way again, pending an upcoming win...
I had to remove the rubber plug on the drum backing plate of my problem-child trailer and turn the star-wheel on the wheel cylinder with a screwdriver until the drum was freed up enough to get it off. I found the drum full of sand and the shoes had rusted in place from a handbrake that had been...

I'll try and edit some photos into this post tomorrow for...
There should be two large machine screws attaching the drum to the hub.
Removing them should give you full access to the brakes without removing the hub body.
Plenty of grease does not rule out old, dry grease causing your heat issue.
I found this out the hard way right before a 700 mile...
Are these the tube spacers that go inside the "C" of the truck's frame to keep it collapsing?
I removed a set from an M1028 and can measure them if we're talking the same pieces.
I believe the yellow circled item is actually the cold idle advance, and the blue circled item is the high idle solenoid.
The high idle solenoid isn't strong enough (neither of mine are, at least) to move the injector arm on its own, so you'll need to push the arm towards the firewall to...
