Well I made it back to the fab shop with (Frank-N-Deuce) started on my hard top and made some step boards with stars for tread. I took a punch and raised them at the points for grip.

Well it made its maiden voyage to the gas station last night. And it gets a 30 miles test tomorrow.

I never thought I would be happy to see parking lights. LoL

About the same speed I have to start shopping for tires soon........$$$&poof! Gonna get some aggressive tread 24.5's to give it a little more gear.

Well the donor bus I purchased for this adventure was a flat nose. If I had it to do over I would have searched for a regular one with a Detroit motor probably. It would have saved a lot of hole drilling and modifications for sure. And I wanted all the OE sheet metal and cab and bed to bolt up...

Well I tore into the engine I just got. This engine is in very good shape no lip in the cylinders and you can still see the cross hatch hone marks from the factory. I decided since I had it tore down this far I might as well go ahead and change the front cover and install the inline injection...

Well I found another complete engine for this project. We did a little horse trading and came to an agreement. I get it home and go to work. Pull my bad motor out do a little motor mount swapping. Next day I get it put back in the saddle bolted down. Change out some filters hook up some wires...

I don't have a strap that I can sell with them yet but any short ratchet strap will work. Or drill two holes and use a small gauge chain. The hanger traps it from the back.
