Well we got bored this weekend, and my mom asked if we could do something about the eyesore in the drivewawy, so we threw a quick ass paint job on it. Only prep work was taking a scraper to the side of the bed where paint was flaking off and scraping off as much as i could, followed by wiping...
it was in 3rd gear. i bumped the turn signal with my hand and the blinker inside doesn't work so i didn't realize, and my low beam burned out that night :(
we got some snow here last night, so i stayed up late enough to take the deuce out and get it loose. We had a ton of fun and lots of spectators pulled over to watch.
I have 2 different friends in wilmington nc that both do off road and custom fabrication that would bob a deuce for a pretty good price, especially if you brought a trailer bed to be used.

you realize that if you do that, you can never engage the front axle drive, or you will blow up the transfer case. On a 4x4, or 6x6 in this case, tire size HAS to be the same on each axle, unless you adjust the gear ratios accordingly
mine only grinds on 3rd to 4th if i'm shifting real fast....we're talking fast and furious holding the sifter halfway down so i don't have to move my hand as much. This is needed for traffic so i can be as fast as possible. Double clutching for me would be pointless because it would take longer...
Picked up the cucv pickup today, made it 6 miles before i realized the damage. Transmission case is cracked, which allowed all the fluid to leak out while driving, and the drive shaft was also slightly bent. So now i need a new transmission as well as a drive shaft.
What trucks have the same...
