I didn`t take into consideration that it might warp...Bolting to my welding table would work..never used nikle rod before .. how easy is it to weld with ??
I would make costom shakles before I would use blocks!!That way you get just the right amount of lift you need...With some nice soft ride springs your good to go... 2cents
These truck`s have thick enough skins you can sand blast (or what ever you want yo use ) patch & paint....I was thinking of taking all the fenders & doors off my truck so i could do inside & out than put back together & do a cover coat so everything matches good & call it a day....Takes time...
Thats cool.... I`m doing the same with my M211 rebuild ... Having new wireing makes life a lot easier.Were are you planing your blinker / brake light location....
