drill and tap is what i did (well had done). both of these trucks have winches now so i will have to drill and tap it again because i had to flip the bumper the holes are on the bottom now. see the two holes below the winch.
i had a great experiance when i went to pick up my M105a3. i don't know if it was Ms. Nealy or not but the lady at the desk was great to deal with. i have her name written down at home (Alice or Angie) i am really bad with names could be anything, but i would say "Sunshine" with her smile. in...
i know this is not my M1028a2/3 with maintance bed, but, i have not started reworking it yet. however, here are the bed liner shackles on my M109a3. i am going to do the same thing on my CUCV when i get to that project.
here is the shackles for the drivers side of my M109a3, i did not get to do all of them yesterday. this evening after work i will get them put on and get some pictures. this is the same way i did the shackles on my other truck.
my church has an email and phone tree and someone brought up a text tree for the people who can't get online that often. the purpose is to sent group texts out in time of need. they said they only need cell phone numbers that get text messages and don't need your names.
now here is what i am...
if you are going to make it a 2 piece and if you are looking for improvements on the current ones. when you get to the front edge roll it under and have a storage ledge over the windshield and make it thik enought to mount a cb or a cab light under it. it would also hide any wires for cab and...
i have both an M105a2 and M105a3. i know this is not an option for everyone, but the M105a3 is wider than a deuce. when i was headed back from Red River Army Depot with the M105a3 i got blocked in in a gas station. i thought i was boned, but it back up great. the landing gear is crap, but...
Just don't spray in the hole or on the body of the pin and it will still work. there was a guy in Spring, Texas who had a bobed deuce that was sprayed with bed liner, however, i think he owned the shop because it had an ad banner on the side. he had it up for sale either here or ebay about 2...
i bought mine from Memphis Equipment Company to do just that. when i get my M-66 installed i am going to cut the hole and put the ring off of the old rusty top that it is on now. i won't be able to stand on the roof because it does not have the reinforcements but the ring support will bolt on...
i think that was the one that i almost bought in january. i bought my 3rd deuce and put a down on that one. rented a car loaded up my tow bar and headed to corpus christi to pickup my 3rd (M35a2) duece. drove it to san antonio to get a forth (M109a3) for the box and found out it had a bad...
yes that is in the plans. just tape the holes so it does not get in and cause problems putting in the pins. here is a set i did for one of my other trucks. it isnot a close up though. i also taped the pins and just sprayed the ends so it would match and still go in the hole.
i have not put it on my M1028A2/3, however, i did the front and rear ends on my M109a3. rustolium rattle can from wal-mart. i ended up needing a lot. i would buy it online by the case if i was going to do it again. i will probably do my M1028A2/3 when i add a winch.
put one of my M35a2's on display at a local church that was having a 9/11 memorial service and was Honoring some local Veterans (one was a Vietnam Veteran). i had to work but she made it.
