I am going to be using my m818 to pull a 40 foot van trailer with the top cut out loaded with wood shavings to bed horse stalls. With the stock 11.00 20's i and 13'7" and with my 395/85 20's I will be even higher. I think a lower 5th wheel would make a big difference and may even get me back...
my oil supply line hooks on the fitting right on top of the oil cooler... there was a little valve there on mine with a short peice of hose on it. fir the truck up and open the valve to make sure yours is pumping oile good. just be sure to stick the little hose in a bottle or there will be oil...
i am not sure how much boost i am pushing for the simple fact that i havent goten a boost gauge yet. i installed my 395's today and the egt went back up. it stays about 850 to 900 degrees going down the road. I still dont get any black smoke. as for the head gasket i think they will hold up to...
I finally got around to turning up the fuel on my 818. i instaled a #10 button and it helped it out alot. The Egts came down when i did this. Before i was running 900 degrees runing down the road 5 gear 2000rpms and now i am at 700 degrees at the same gear and rpms. the truck runs alot better...
That's what I was going to put in my A2... We have put it in all of our horse stalls. The stuff is pricey but it's worth it. Just make it so it will come out easy so you can was out your floor and let it dry to keep from rusting...
So was looking at my pump today and saw fuel dripping down te side of the pump from the throttle shaft. Is this an easy fix? Will a seal kit do the job?

Hey Jimk any results on the buttuns that you used? I have turboed my truck and havent touched the fuel yet but i want to i am not getting any smoke what so ever and egts are so low. I had a guy to tell me that i couldn't get the engine with the stock pump and injectors and that it wouldn;t ever...
has any body been able to get their exhaust to hot with the turbo on there. a guy told me that use to do this all the time that the pump and the injectors wouldn't let me get the truck to hot. just wondering what you all think?
