I will wait till I get it here to decide but its either going to be a camper or storage. That would have been a long drive for you but it looks like a nice trailer(im glad you got busy:-D). Do you have a M944 or is that a trailer in your avatar? Ross
If you have time could you check out the roadworthyness of my m313,and two contanier chassis trailers(tires, etc)? The sales event was 3890 and lot numbers were 7701,7702 and 7711. Also if you could see if there is a provision for a pintel hook on the back of the m313 I would really appreciate...
That truck is so awesome, kind of makes the 919 look small. I think the hooklift style would be really useable on the farm.. If I remember right the rear axle steers??
I will still be heading down that way as soon as I can get things caught up here.
I need an alternator for my m944a1 truck. I seem to remember something about the 939 series trucks having a different alt then m809 series trucks. Is that true or will any m35,m818 etc alt work?
Anybody have a source for an alternator and what do I need to watch out for.
I also need a...
I was high bidder on a m313 trailer and am wondering if there is provision for a pintle hitch on the back like my m447 has? I cant see anything in the gl pic but I thought they were based on the same chassis.
Nice trailer, I considered that one but didnt want to drive to Carson to get it. I bought some trailers in KS instead. Your truck looks sharp with those radials on it.
I was just at fort riley picking up some other stuff and started my new 1009 that hasnt cleared euc yet. I jumped it with my m35a2 by hooking the positive on the first battery and the negative on the second battery to the corresponding posts on the m35 batteries. Worked fine. Is the m1009 not...
I bought one with 47000 miles on the last GL auction in Fort Riley KS for $1560 before tax and the gl 10%. I went yesterday to pick up some other stuff and was able to start and drive it around. It dosent have any rust and looks pretty good.
I picked up some stuff and looked at my m1009 while at fort Riley today and the guy there hadnt heard anything. My m1009 started up and drove ok but the front pass tire is shot so I will have to change it when my euc clears.
Welcome to the board. I live between york and columbus and use some of my trucks for farming. Nice to know there is somebody close by with parts..

Well this is probably all done by now but towing a five ton is as safe as towing a deuce in my opinion just because you can hook up the brakes on the 5 ton to the towing vehicle. Then you are just towing a 10ton trailer with brakes. I wouldnt do it unless the brakes worked though. The...
