Did you roll the axle shafts on the garage floor? it will be pretty obvious if they are bent.

I have that same seal puller from autozone, I a 6.5 on the stand right now gotta do the same thing, how were you putting the seal in?

Not sure where to go with this. You can check the axles for trueness by taking them out and rolling them on the floor of the garage (hard flat surface)

Do they wobble by hand, or do they wobble when you rotate the axle?

Somewhere on this site is a picture of a 1028 upside down still strapped to the trailer, I think it was around Atlanta. Not enough tongue weight is a VERY scary thing.
