    My 1984 M923 AM General maximum speed is 45 miles per hour.

    I drove my truck to work last night. The GPS read 52 miles per hour at 220 rpms.. The speedometer stopped working and I am for sure changing the fuel filter. Thanks for all the help.

    I sure appreciate all the help. this is a very helpful website. I ended up using the gps and the speedometer was off. Got up to 53 mph.
