Thats a better route. Watch goign thru Texas by the border. If you get out of the truck , when you get back do a quick look around. look under to make shure you didn't gain a hitch hiker! Be safe and have a good trip!
you could glass the bottom and them when it is cured put a liner in the inside. I did this with my jeep gas tank 2 years ago and no problems so far. Just make sure the liner is completely cured and dry before using.
Its real easy to not get them back together rite especially in a tight spot. may only need to put back together properly. and as Zout said liberal with the pb blaster!
You need to give Troy a big kiss for me , the starter on my jeep that he fixed ata the rally is still kicking like a new one! I did order the new brushes as he said! give him a big thanks for me!
Its a cj2a. Mine is a 46 and was in a lot worse shape than that one! Look at it now. Its worth saving. It has a M38 windshild in it. Its a early cj2a because of the front marker lights, the later ones had bug eye front marker lights. Save it!
Unfortunely thats the way people think now adays. There was a jeep by me that i offered the guy twice what it was worth. and he kept saying no, I said if you change your mind call me. I found out he hauled it for scrap! I said man i would have given you twice that for it, he just looked at me...
And meany people have been killed working on thees rims with that thinking! This is no joking matter. I had a friend cut in half when a rim came apart.
