from what i have read and asked. i need to do this so when i hit the pedal it stops falling on its face. was wondering if there is anything i should do or replace while im in there.

m1009 with 26k. starts and runs. seems to me that once i get going and need more throttle, for like a hill. just seems to fall on its face. so im thinking injection pump?
what do you think? anyway to test it? thanks
i give up on the lav tires. i came across 3 sets of them. 2 new sets. 1 used set. about 80%. with some spares.

been trying to get my m1009 to shift better. after the modulator it was better. can the thing on the side of the pump go bad? (what is that thing called) way to test it? thanks

truck has 20k on it. been a long time since it has ran. dropped in batteries. checked the fluids. started right up. sounded great. im just getting out of the truck and then comes a loud knock. sounds like the driver side up by the rockers.

just put in a new starter. throws the gear out, moves the motor like a 1". that it will not crank. started was tested and its good. cant think of what im missing? any ideas?

this is the m1009 im going to keep. about to put it on the road. all the brakes are new. rears drag pretty bad. pulled the wheels off. looks good. everything is where it should be. any ideas? im stumped at this point. thanks
cant believe how this is adding up. heres what i got:

Lift springs, grease able bushings, hd shackles front and rear. flip for the rear hardware around 1000.
steering:

weld on brace 50

Detroit locker 400...
new relay and glow plugs. never came across this before. wait light goes out, but they stay on. i was thinking its a bad relay. put on another one. does the same thing. looked at the wiring in the plastic. looks like it was pieced back together.

here is my 88 k5. full loaded k5. 5.7 tbi. all power and it has a sm465 with a hydro clutch. been trying to find a hydro 32 spline sm465 for a while. then i got this. for the price. had to bring it home. :razz: as you can see its had better days. the ring gear is messed up. has a 4"...
