I basically bought it got the solid piece rims and tires. It has some rust at the bottom of the tail gate and the paint is peeling in many areas. It has wood bows and rails.
I also don't have room for 3 trailers.
Guys, I am probably going to scrap one of my M101a1's. I will be keeping both the wheels and a few other parts. Does anyone need any parts for a M101a1 that you might be fixing up. Please pm me and I can bring

Yearly registration is very cheap if you register it as a "Former Military". As that it can not be a daily driver because it's intended purpose needs to be parades or display. Do a search and you'll find all kinds of info.
I would like to know also. I thought I bought some NOS tubing, but I am having the same issue that I had the the tubing that I bought at Ace hardware. My tubing stretches over time and sags, not sure if it's from the diesel or the heat.
My truck doesn't have a air shift actuator either. I think it started life with a sprag transfer case and at some point was up graded and they did not install the a air shift kit. I bought the the kit but have not installed it yet.
Had to pick up some stuff at Ikea today. It was 101 degrees today so i used the M101a1 instead of the deuce. All worked well. I felt sorry for the guy trying to load stuff into his Honda Civic.
That's great your friend would rather offer it rather than give it back to GL. Good luck Ratchet, but I can't see how getting a free or good deal m101 and getting back to PA would make any sense. It would be more economical if you bought one closer to PA.
