I think you are looking for The Kawasaki KLT 250P Prairie Police Edition. They were painted to order. Pretty much the same as this. When I was much younger, we used them for Off-Road enforcement.
"2 starters, has 2 new batteries, 2 brand new starters, a new GP relay, and 2 brand new alternators" I assume you meant one each. Too bad, however this is a MV vehicle hobby and it costs money. For cheap reliable transportation I would not buy a MV maybe a moped.
As you can see from the variety of responses, it could be a lot of things. Here's my two cents, buy a stethoscope from NAPA or wherever you shop. Start it and crawl around.
It won't take you long to track it down.
What you have there is an F-16D that belonged to Maj. John Barton & Maj. Thomas Bartel
119 FSNew Jersey ANG. Call 'em and ask if they want to buy it back..Attached is a "before" pic..
You have the "after." lol...
Here's my 2cents Buy it. Clean it, paint it etc. Put it on the truck and take lots of pics.
Then sell it. Everytime I bought something, then sold it and made a profit.
I always enjoyed it more.
Congrats on the truck. I agree, be prepared for a break down. I would be shocked if something did not go; BOOM or SNAP or CRACKLE or POP or CRUNCH or.....that's all I can think of. Bring tools and an even temper.
C or "Whistler" turbo is narrow the D is a bit wider. I have a D and would not get a C. They are just too loud.
But then again; I went to a concert and it was too loud. 2cents
