RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: GL $ and EUC The deadline is approaching and I can not get a guy named Aaron to read his email I sent last week. This is so pathetic. If I loose the M1031 because of his attitude it will be a long drawn out battle with the company. I have delivery confirmation emails...

M818 recovery (important note for all newbies!!)

Wow that was saving Grace for sure I have seen it go way worse for a Soldier too. Many days in the hospital pretty broken up. The pictures make me miss my M818, I have hardly had time to even get in it since we got it home in March I had to come back to Korea. I will caution my sons as they...

    Tank salvage yard in Iraq.

Are you in Mosul? It looks kinda familar. The site of the big shoot in Kuwait has all the vehicles we toasted on the highway of death piled up in the desert really creepy to look over it and it won't take long before the Kuwaiti police are there chasing you out.

RE: GL $ and EUC It is so much a sign of our times the beurocracy grows because of the liberals attempting to take over our freedom. Just another business trying to squeeze more out of it's customers. I miss the old days of in person auctions where we got the title and SF97 just by waiting in...

Advice on purchasing either a M113 or an M114

RE: M113 or M114 I towed 15,000 pounds with my duece the M127 trailer and my dolly it towed very well although it did slow down on hills. The M113 is an awesome vehicle and you should see an M113A3 they really haul apples.

    Take a 1044 on vacation...

Very nice even has the red dot A/C unit on the back just for your edifcation the troops prefered that one over the factory installed version in the UAH because they could direct the cold air where they wanted it and the stock unit barely kept up with removing the latent heat from the floor pan...

Advice on purchasing either a M113 or an M114

RE: M113 or M114 Wow: Getting an M113 would be one vehicle my wife might let me get since as an Army Nurse in command of a Charlie Med Company in the 1/28 FSB she got licenced on them. I agree an M113 would be a blast to own and drive and what mouth would not drop at any rally to see you pull...

    My 1028 hauling a load

We opened the valve covers on my sisters 66 Mustang when I was a kid and found the same gunk covering the covers just wiped it out and cleaned them with 19 Cent per gallon gasoline and put them back my dad told me the oil mixed with moisture in the engine that got sucked in when it cooled and...

Vic 3 intercom System up for sale

Guys: I know that the issue is a sore one and it just was my read that the parts he had pictures of were the same ones I was trying to get in quantity for installation in our vehicles in Iraq. They would not have been thrown out if properly disposed of. Chuck is right and I am not mad at the...

my 1st m1008- started, now no start. ALso rust question

I know the main reason is that if starting aids are used the engine must be cranked immediately not allowing the glow plugs to cycle. The glow plugs are a weak link in my mind in fact in my 6.5 TD Suburban the #8 one is almost impossible to change without removing the exhaust. Gotta love the...

my 1st m1008- started, now no start. ALso rust question

If you really want to start it a one to two second spray of ether in the intake and then go immediately and start without waiting for glow plugs. It will make a little bark and the fire right up.

    My 1028 hauling a load

We used to back into the sand dunes in Northern Indiana with an old Dodge pick up and shovel it full of sand. Being boys that got off when enough sand was delivered we always loaded it till it could hold no more. It looked way worse than your picture and the front wheels tended to float a...
