    They are gas hogs but the 68 power wagon we used at work was gutsy. 6-8 mpg.

    Just checked - my tm #'s on all my books are TM9-2320-211..... not the same as doghead's link suggested. Maybe I have an incomplete set, no wonder I couldnt find it.the 211 is supposed to be 361.

    Yes theM51 is not for alot of miles over the road. Not a good winter truck either. Not comfortable. BUT, offroad, now yer talkin. 10 wheel drive. Strong .

    Back in the 70's during the gas rationing, many gasoline engines were swithched to propane, just propane. Is it that the gasoline engines can take the increased btu's better than the diesels?
