Hey Guys,
I'm glad I got a chance to finally meet up with emmado22, doghead, jatonka, maddawg308, NickD.
We had some great times around the grill and later the camp fire, and yes many beers.
Much thanks to the Red Ball Club for all they had done for the MTA.
Cheers,
Craig
Hi Jason,
I have a club member of the MTA that would like to know if you can run his UIC number for him. He has no clue as to who the truck was assigned to in the Marines.
His number is M21420
Thanks for your help,
C'dub
believe it or not.....but all of the four peck cocks on my air drians were full of grit that truned to hard mud from some kind of mud wasp.
I would drain each one after running the engine.
Starting with:
1-wet tank
2-spring break tank
3-primary tank
4-secondary tank
as per the -10 manual...
Hey Guys,
This will be my first Gilbert showing. I can't wait to me up with the Stealsoldiers that are going. I will be bringing my M925a1 to camp out and haul parts back to NJ.
If you happen to see the truck before you see me, Just drop me a note and a cell number in the cab.
seya,
Craig
RE: Re: RE: NHC250 needs more power
When the in-frame engine overhaul was done on my NHC-250 Cummins, I had asked the mechanic about more power and he said " If you want more power you have to change some Iron in the engine...." and if you do. One thing leads to another...ie change this you...
Hey Ken,
Yea, you are right in many respects. I wouldn't say that I could follow the LO like is suggested. It's really the first I've ever read of something like that and thought it was a very interesting approch.
Do I follow that rule.....No, it's not a perfect world......
Keeping up with...
I've hear so many stories of guys leaving their wheel cocks behind and ripping out the cargo tie downs from the sides of the beds where they have the chain wrapped.
So I got an Idea...........
I had found a dealer at the Wings and Wheel show today that was selling some RBF tags for a key...
When towing a heavy duty truck we would pull the axles in the rear as not have the drive train turning when elevated in the front so that parts of the drive line wouldn't turn with out any lube hitting the gears.
The only time we would chain a rear up is when we towed a tractor from the back...
That was exactly what my problem was. I followed the manuals instructions for testing the horn electrical system and it lead me to the horn switch. Which when taken apart was rusty and not making a good ground for the horn spring........
or just a lose nut behind the wheel.......Hahahaha...
On my M925A1 with the NHC-250 she has a fording kit that went FUBR with the MWO back in 1997 and was well as when the In-Frame Engine Overhaul was done.
There are two quarter turning ball valves which control the pressurizing of certain components.
Valve ONE goes to the engine vent tube and...
