    m1009 rear seat question

    Yes it telescopes and locks. So if the seat is down it would be closed. If the seat is flipped forward you press the lever and the rod telescopes out and locks so the seat stays up.

    Here you go. The bracket The rod measures 12" all the way closed And measures ~18 1/2" fully extended It bolts on the passenger side right behind the seat belt mount.

    Help Finding A Part

    I'm looking for the seat belt bolt for the retractor on a M1009. It's part # 3954730. It's the Torx bolt. I have searched the forum but haven't found were to get one. I have tried all the parts stores around town with no luck. I have searched the webs for that part number with out much luck.

    Cover the threaded holes with small pieces of masking tape. Didn't need a respirator. I did the prep outside in the driveway. The Xylene wasn't bad at all, I didn't even smell it. The Herculiner kit comes with a scotch bright pad to scuff up the paint. I used a wire wheel on anything loose...
