Maybe, maybe not. I heard for every 3 M35A2s turned into the rebuilt program, 2 M35A3s came out. Can you find out the originality of the truck frame of your A3 from the leftover A2 VIN #? Yes, IF it is still visible and hasn't been blasted or ground off. Also, all the rest of the parts for...
M923 to M923A1, or M923 to M925 isn't too hard, like they said, tires and wheels. Changing to an A2 variant would require changing the engine, adding CTIS, lots of little stuff.
My last truck was rebuilt, they replaced almost everything, including the engine. When they did, they replaced the odometer, but not the hour meter, which still showed high hours.
I asked jatonka one time, since he's a M35 guru, about the true mileage of these trucks, and he said most trucks...
No title, no problem.
Front axles aren't rare, they are common.

I've had a couple tires come apart on the road, that were cracked when the trip started. They were on the rears, so it didn't matter too much, but like others have said, if DOT gets wind of it you will get tickets on the side of the road.
I was told this: if you can take a dime and stick it...

Love the towbar mount, very cool!
Not a big fan of the short bed, though, I would have preferred to remove the spare tire mount, drop a standard deuce bed in place, and remount the spare tire in the bed. I just feel you sacrificed some bed size that you might regret later, in order to make a...
Hook the tow bar up and let the steering float, no rear driver necessary. Some vehicles will track perfectly, and some will sway left/right, depends on how tight the steering on the towed vehicle is.
So, are you saying if you mount them on HEMTT rims the front axle width would be wider than the rear? How does that work going around corners?
Would it be better to mount them on standard 5-ton rims if it would be closer to original width?
Not sure yet if I'm going, will cost $100 in fuel just to drive there, 4.5 hours there, 2 hours at the show, and 4.5 hours back. But it would be great to see everyone again, so still up in the air...
You mean the medium tow bar. You won't need a heavy tow bar unless you own a tank and need to recover one. Mediums take care of everything up to and including 5-ton trucks.
Got a call from a MV buddy of mine, said that his employer at Lowe's Home Improvement in Winchester, VA is having a "Contractor Appreciation Day" on Friday, April 27th 2012. This is a new event, and looks like all sorts of people, and hobbies are going to be displayed out in the parking lot...
