I've been in need of a new driver's side seat cover, but the prices I've seen are just too much. So, I covered it myself. I used an old shelter half that I picked up for 2 bucks at a swap meet. Seems to have worked well.
They are so you can peek inside the trailer to see what's inside when the top is on! If you believe that, I have some some land for sale near the gulf.

From the photos, it looks like the towed truck front axle simply slips down into a groove on the 5th wheel plate. Is this correct? If correct, I guess the only thing holding it down is gravity--and your chains?? Lastly, what do you figure the weightage is on the tractor?

Noticed that the flexible high pressure line that runs from the pressure gauge (on the dash) to the fireway distribution block is hissing. Anybody have a NAPA equivalent number or is this an item for one the MV vendors? Thanks much.
