Im Trying to Get one of these kits but i cant get ahold of avengeusa...Any help?
does anybody know what alternator the kit useS? cuz im sick of waiting. if i can get the right alternator to ask for ill just make my own bracketry.
JEsus,U got some great ideas...those steps are gnarly. i know for a fact ull sell tons of alternator and ac brackets..i want some right now..,hope everything starts turning out!
The Term Has a long history..i believe starting with the motorcycle hobby..a Bobber was a harley with the rear fender chopped up and what not way back in the day...Haircut term also.
U can remove as much as u want really..thats the fun part.!
I do..and i did before i made my statment...BUT when a deuce wheel that has a center made out of 1/2 inch flat plate is going for more than most 24inch ****** rims are..that takes a million dollar machine to carve out.. then chrome plating ect ect.
It just pisses me off...thats all.
ya ur right its way less capable..so why would u try and turn it into one..a tatra body ..and everything else for that matter are tottaly diff from a deuce..where would u POSSIBLY put a nother axle? right under the cab? are u gonna chop the tool box and battety box off? are u gonna put a 12 inch...
This is just another one of those threads with the most outlandish topic. Sure its nice to talk and think how cool it would be to have a deuce of whatver with 3 rear ends..chances are it will never happen..plus itd be pointless..
I seriously dont think ur truck would turn anymore. ..itd just go...
I specifically agree with what basset deuce said...
They price high CUZ THEY CAN.
And altho i do understand there is a point in running a BUSINESS..people are still gonna complain..like me :)
Take my fav topic for example...CUSTOM DEUCE WHEELS!... I see one guy selling em for...
No. Its just that u dont normally just like...GO ON CRAIGSLIST real quick and BUY a 5 ton crewcab..for one theres no such thing.. Its somthing that sombody put months of effort into making.. Then..it has a to have 4 wheel steering...and of course be running 53 inch meats..
idk..its just all...
i dont think its the clutch..it hooks up good not to far off the floor. and that wouldnt explain the chuffing coming from the stack.
big mike..thanks for the support..ill keep it in mind..im just getting my bed put on during the next couple days so its gonna have to wait for a bit..and i dont...
ya all the filters all clean and its fresh fuel in the tank. straight diesel..and the FDC is bypassed.
And to better describe for people...
lets say your driving down the road....40mph...in 5th gear..and ur using JUST ENOUGH throttle to maintain your speed...THATS when the motor chugs and...
Searched high and lo on this one and couldnt find any help....
So now that my truck is completed ive been driving it and i have this issue where at higher rpm's ..and lets say a NUETRAL or light throttle level...the engine like...HUFFS and this chugging noise comes from the stack and the whole...
it is really low but ur talking about alot of weight to be pulled out.. but if a dodge truck will pull it out..the deuce probly would too.
And as far as the highway speed issue..i dont think theres ANY way a deuce could pull that much weight even on a flat surface at 55..most of em take awhile...
THANKS GUYS FOR THE INPUT...it was the gen.
It has a bad bearing or somthing else is wrong..it gets hot then screams...and plus my voltage is 36 volts when engine is running so what ussually needs to be done to these to fix that?
Can an alternator shop rejuvenate it?
