803 vs central air unit...no go

My 803a will start my AC unit with the well and some other 220 things going already. The hard start kit makes a big difference. You need to make sure your unit will put out at least 100% power and doesn't have any issues using some sort of disposable load bank.

    MEP 831A Fix-up Thread

I just put one of Kurt's controllers in a one on Monday. Runs like a top now. Just sitting seems to make the stock one go haywire. I have a couple more to do now that I've seen firsthand how well they work getting rid of that factory controller.

    802/803 fuel return fittings

I've actually just pulled some off with my hands and some have been tight enough to use end or side cutters.

    802/803 fuel return fittings

Just cut or pull the crimp off and buy regular 1/4" fuel line. A couple feet of 1/4" line and some clamps fix that right up. I replace that line along with all the return line on every set I work on.

    802/803 fuel return fittings

Any 1/8" T works. If you want one specifically rated for fuel https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/fuelinesplit2.php

    Newbie with an -803a

Always charge both batteries separately first. That makes sure they are 100% charged and neither one is bad before being put into service. After that is it fine to charge them on 24v together.

    Newbie with an -803a

I use them on all my 24v setups. I have the version with the solar panel and 120v charger. I wire the charger to cut out via a 24VDC relay when S1 is turned to run or prime on the generators. The truck is set up differently, but all 3 of my gen sets are set up to be automatic

    MEP803A Wont Shut off

I may have some of those shrouds. I'd have to look. I threw dozens of those in the scrap load last time. I take them off all the units I work on. I use a piece of one to cover the large hole in the bottom to keep rodents out and scrap the rest.

    Integrating noco gen2m into MEP-802A

Use a relay with a 120v plug on the other end. A 24vdc coil relay and a plug are all you need to automatically shut the charger off as soon as the prime position gets turned on.

    Integrating noco gen2m into MEP-802A

I wired mine through a relay so it shuts itself off when gen set starts up.

    My MEP803A permanent install

I have a piece of flex, a couple 45 degree elbows, and a turn to go out my metal roof. I used fire caulk both sides first and then some high temp silicone over top of that after running the unit. No leaks yet. Been like that almost 2 years.

    My MEP803A permanent install

Just make sure those wheels don't move around enough to sheer off that conduit!

    mep 804a

That would depend on your end use. If you have need for the unit to be mobile I would pay for the trailer to be sent with it. If you have no need of the trailer I'd leave it behind and save on shipping personally.

    HD 765 U 120 or 208 Volt Space Heater

I figured out the wiring hookup, but just have some butt connectors slipped over the heater side right now. Would like to find the correct plug

I've been looking all over for those power supply cords but had no luck. Glad yours came with one!

Lets talk and over think Coolant

I had the same issue with green Prestone. I couldn't find anything online that rated it as diesel either.
