Yeah, :( I scrapped it! Not much was left thought. I think I put that divertor somewhere? Parting out my M813 now. I really like the pintle plate you did! I may put a dump hoist on my M923 and will do something similar. If you need any parts come get them soon. I will be moving to another...
The big winches are a lot of work. Most are cable out and cable in, so no free wheel. They are very slow going too. But if you need to move a house the 45,000 and 60,000 lb winches will do it. I know because my friend uses these big winches in his house moving business with great result!
Less than a week left and my M923 is not running! I have been going though the electrical system and found lots of corroded contacts and a few broken wires. I am relocating my batteries to under the passengers side door too. I just can't stand having the batteries under the seat any longer...
I just finished parting out my M813 and had put new battery cables on it a year ago! Since the M813 has the batteries under the passengers side door, they will work perfect! Good thing I did this modification the m923 cables and wires where a mess! The hard part is getting the insulated brackets...
I roll 375lb 1400/20 tires with rims up and down mine ramp all the time. Having a ramp is hands down the best thing I have ever done for my 5 ton. Well that and the boarding ladder :)
Thanks Barefootin for posting your pictures too! Now people won't think I am crazy, yes they are rated at 3000lbs for each ramp :) They make aluminum ramps to do the same job at half the weigh, but I got a great deal on these!
These are Melcher Fiberglass ramps. They have a slight arch in them, which will help to keep you car from bottoming out during that last transition on to the truck. These are at least 16' long. I went to their site and they show them being used to load a SUV and being put together as a loading...
How much longer are the bridge truck torque rods? I want to spread my rear axles on my M923. Sorry, don't mean to hijack the thread. I am just curious.
I like it dude ?
No really, I thought 4 batteries would fit, but I was focused on the bigger series 40 semi truck batteries. I still think we are going to need a removable top on the box. Good thing I saved my cover off my M813 batteries :)
