Axle gearing Somebody mentioned changing the axle gearing. I thought there was only 1 ratio available, the standard 6:something. What else is available, where can I get more info on it and any idea how much? I'll also probably be wanting lockers. Any idea what those go for/where to get...

Don't watch much TV. Mostly movies. I do remember seeing Extreme 4x4 once on a weekend but they had Moab rock crawlers, no MV stuff. I got the idea by reading here and seeing the build pics. That and I have always wanted a MV and tanks get really bad MPG on the highway.

In Florida you see large groups of motorcycles (10-50) do this with regularity. No legal standing at all. Never been questioned by a LEO (Yet?) Must be a LOT easier to stop traffic with a 2 1/2 6x6 army truck than a motorcycle... Fancy blinking light or not...;-)
