    2nd gear starts??

I'm with JT and Clinto on this one. I have to slip my clutch too much for comfort to start my Deuce out in second. But I've also done what m35a2cowner suggests and it works out real well for city driving. Shift pattern then is 2L-3L-4L-5L-4H-5H. You just upgraded to a fully synchronized six...

Had several dump trucks over the years....always trying to back up or reposition while lifting, or not lifting the bed.....riding the clutch...forgetting to dis-engage PTO....wondering why the bed stopped lifting when I am holding...

Glad it worked out for you. I was alittle farther away than others but I had worked on my brakes last year and knew enough to be dangerous! Rebuilt the airpack, etc.... Great to see the support of the forum. Heck, I can't get my relatives to hold the wrench on the bolt to tighten a nut...

    NEED HELP IN GEORGIA

Brakes the only repair needed? May be easier for someone to come fix it on site then tow it 80 miles. How soon do you need it fixed? Maybe some of us can arrange a "fix it" day at your place if we know more about the problem.

The offical GA SS Rally Multimedia and BS thread.......

I do some trail riding in my area (NE GA). There are some trails alittle rougher and include fording streams; however, most of them have low branches and/or too narrow for the deuce. The best trail close the campsite is (was) Bean Creek. It has a big mud hole if you are interested..... the...
