RE: M105
Got a cover and bows, I am going to use it with some taller bows for my daughter and some of her friends to ride in it behind the wrecker in our local Memorial Day Parade. The taller sides will allow the cover to be far enough above their heads for them to sit on a two sided bench in...
Good looking truck, you will love the 5 ton, easy to work on and fun to drive, and the looks you get! My son and I have a great time with the M543.

RE: M105
There was one up for auction at Ft. Bragg about the time I got my 543, it wasn't a clam shell like my M106 but it I think it had access doors on three sides and was pretty boxie looking. I will see if I can find the GL photo of it.

Finally got my M105 from GL after three tries and 4 months!!!! Those unmanned sites are tough to get access to. After setting for four months they managed to hit the lunette and bend it an inch off center line, it was parked on the end of a long line of trucks. It still looks good behind...

A 4 to 1 solution of muratic acid and water works really well if you are not in a big hurry. I use it on jerry cans all the time, it will take several days but it will be shiny when you are done. You only need enough solution to...

David:
I had a look at the photos you shared with me, all of them are all green, but this guy was absolutely sure they were black, and that one of the first things they did was to paint everything OD!

What was the original color(number) of the M543 wrecker? A local vet. told me he remembers the new wreckers arriving with everything below the body in a dull black, except the axles?

Robert: Do you have any photos of the finished product, I am going to have the same thing done to a Large Towbar set.

Tom:
I picked up a M105 a week ago with my son's Montero(no taller than a Jeep), no problem at all, looked a little funny, so low in the front but ran fine. I think I have a photo, will post later.

Since I have a NOS set of chain clamps courtesy of Frank, I want to see if anyone wants to trade a very good set of Chain clamps (my old ones) for a set of the two pin towbar adapters as show in the photo below?

The flexible fuel line leading to the dual fuel filters on my Multifuel engine is leaking. Are replacements available or do I just take it off an have a line made??
