SMLS Where did you pick up the XMLs? That looks great.

I was recently told by GL that it's more like 45 days and so far it's been almost 45 days and nothing. They say the same thing, it's coming, we are just a bit behind.

Anyone have a source , PN, NSN, civilian number, etc of the two switches for the blackout and running lights the CUCVs use? The truck was civilianized a bit so am trying to but things back. Thanks

Anyone know of a website, book, Guru etc that could convert or at least suggest what year the A2 I just picked up is......It only has a 10 digit VIN, no year, believe it is an AM Gen. There is NO paperwork, it's never been registered, there's no title etc....CA DMV is gonna be giving me hell...

Helping a friend in Iraq, he's a mech in Southern Iraq, who is looking for th starter for a GAZ 3308, about a 2 ton military truck. It has two axles. The part number is CT 230-A1. They are also looking for a clutch, press plate and through out bearings.....for the same truck... Anyone know...

Don't believe the tag I picked up one that said it fit the Deuce and 5 ton.......brand new, all nice and net......unpacked it.........looked at it and said, Oh too wide....sure enough......even though it said 2 1/2 ton and 5ton........it DIDN'T fit..................so be careful.

Alternators Are the two interchangable or not. I have a spare #1 alternator and now my #2 is bad. Can I use it to replace the #2 alt. ?

Ok, anyone have the Napa parts numbers or similar for all three (3) belts on that M1009. Also the size etc for the crank shaft pulley and harmonic balancer for the 6.2. Thanks ahead of time.

1. Does the red lead (Positive) from the #1 alt D/S, go down and thru the wiring bundle along side the injectors then up the the firewall junction block...triangle shaped black junction block next the the solenoid??? 2. Is the blue short led attached to the red lead and then to the junction...

It looks nice but there are rust issues, looked at it yesterday. The seller has way too much into it...he took the motor out for his personal 82 chev p/u.....should have just bought an engine instead......

What is the t-case used in the M1009??? Is it the NP 203 or 208? My trucks are 3 hrs away so can't just go out and look at mine. Thanks

Has anyone tried say 3" or 4" pipe etc on their CUCVs.....will it work, will it help the 6.2 breath any better or what?? Is it a waste of time and money, anyone have any ideas on this?

I had two Car Quest batteries, 1100 CCA, in my shop van when it arrived. They lasted for 6 yrs before they died. It had pieces of 2x4s for spacers which worked well. Now I have some slightly used 6TLs that are doing well even for take outs. The use of a solargizer seems to help as well...

I want to mount the hardtop I have on my Deuce. To do this you need the "L" clips for the underside of the top of the windshield frame so that the nuts/bolts are level on the underside. Does anyone know who has or where I can get the clips and how many I'll need? Any help would be...
