Well after a whole weekend in a M920 . I had to drive my M813 to make some 1 inch to 1.5 adapters for my tow bar to a shop with a 100 ton press . I felt like I was in a pinto slammed on the ground !! LMBO I felt like I could parellel park that thing down town . I never thought I would feel that...
I would say the base M920 would run you between 5k and 12k depending on condition and location. On the lower price scale it will most likely need some love and parts.
The problem with trailering a M920 is that there over 13 feet tall and many of them bridges arn't much taller. If I remember right the M915 weighs in at around 19000 and the M920 is 31000 so as long as the brakes in the m920 are good it should keep you straight and the M915 has the ponys so...
My first 7 or 8 purchases were flawless and couldn't say enough good things about the GL site managers. The last 3 have been PURE **** !! and I have no ryme or reason for it ??
The M819 has a 26 foot reach the M816 has 18 foot of reach, The M819 also has a 5th wheel to haul larger trailers. But doesn't have the 45K winch in the rear. Also If I remember the crane can pick more with the M819. I have yet to see in the past year a M819 on GL . Maybe Doghead can chime in. I...
