Well on one of my M35A@'s, in resonce to a spongy brake pedal, I adjusted all the brake shoe to drum clearances, and then bled the hydraulic sysem. But the brake pedal is only about 1/2 up from the floor before it activates the shoes> What ccould it be?

You can, if you wish, make them work by selecting the=at coductor representing that is unswitched , and reconnecting it to a frame ground.

I have several M35A2 trucks, I wonder if the harness, and diagram, are different for your particular model. Check your diagram....Do you HAVE a diagram?
Dear mrmag1, if you want to use the 12 volt buls you have, you can be creative in altering your harnes to accomodate 12 volts at the bulbs. A study of your wiring diagram wil enable you to do this.
Theres more to the correct use of fasteners. The manufacturer of the fastener determins its claim of strength.
For example, chinese grade 8 does not live up to the standards set for grade 8. American made grade 8 does meet those standards.
When you but " grade 8" in the local hardware store...
WEll today I organized my fastener section. I realize in this winch installation that I have plenty of patience to do each part of ther work. But I do not have patientce for looking for the correct fastener. And IT MUST BE THE RIGHT ONE !
And those mounting bolts are spaecial too, different lengths and some use a spacer....I looked for the details in the TM's but did not find that specific answer I was looking for...
