I think I used around 2' of 1/4" line and 12' of 1/8". 3' of 1/4 will do you for sure. I bought the 1/8 by the roll when I was going through units so not positive. I'd get two units out of one 25' roll though.

I got my EGT and boost gauges mounted up today. I used the Hewitt analog ones

I also use the gates hoses on my units. In my opinion it is a much higher quality hose. I have used Gates hoses for years on anything I work on and have yet to have one fail<br>

I was thinking the control was bad. I'll have to look up the nsn and try to find one. Any commercial equivalent? I'm using leak detector that I use on gas and air lines in commercial buildings. As you know there are a ton of lines and fittings on these so it is taking awhile to go through it all!

Got a wiper question too. I hear air coming from passenger side wiper motor when truck is shut off too. I replaced windshields today and there is air coming from supply line for a couple minutes after shutoff. Bad wiper control? Sometimes wiper randomly starts on that side when the truck is...

I couldn't feel any air leaking anywhere. I have air leaks all over I'm chasing but nothing there. It was supposed to have been a new unit within the last couple years.

New to me truck. I'm going through it changing fluids and greasing it. Moved to forward and shut it down to grease u joints. Air dryer was making a noise I can only describe as like a duck quacking. I have driven semis for years and never heard anything like this. Any ideas what would cause...

Which truck? My 923A2 is 10'3" to the top of the davit. I'm on 14r20s though. 16s will add another 2 inches or so

Thanks guys! Gauges are ordered. They are Hewitt gauges, but coming with boost and egt from amazon as the price can't be beat.

Anyone dropped a resistor inline to run a 12v gauge? I found mechanical boost and egt in 12v but not 24v. I think it would just be lighting that would take power and could maybe even switch out the bulb?

Ok my thinking was correct. I ordered both from different sellers on fleabay. Found the supply lines for 15 and the return for 10. I didn't think that was to bad a deal.

Thanks. I will check that out. That could be an issue too. Lots of oil has leaked out of that bolt/cap on the injection pump and run down over the power steering. Power steering fluid level was ok. Motor oil was majorly low.
